HOD in-Charge
On behalf of our students and faculty, it is my privilege to welcome all of you to the Department of Electrical Engineering at Asansol Institute of Engineering and Management-Polytechnic. We take pride in our faculty, a team of highly capable and dedicated professionals, most of whom have academic and industrial experience and degrees from leading universities of India. We provide ample opportunities to our faculty and students, through in-house trainings, workshops and trainings outside the college campus for further growth and development in their areas of expertise.
At present, the department offers an undergraduate Diploma (Electrical Engineering). The Electrical Engineering programs are designed to reflect the diverse needs of our students, industry, and society with academic rigor. We strive to nurture graduates who are ready to accept the changing needs of society and industry. Since the future is of smart energy management systems, the Electrical Engineering Department will continue to fulfill its aim to contribute to the society.
I invite you to explore our department webpages and discover the ample opportunities for academic excellence at our department as a first choice in electrical engineering education. I believe career opportunities in Electrical Engineering are endless as a Diploma Engineer Trainee can work anywhere in government agencies, Power industries, Government PSUs, R&D fields, IT industries, Electricity Boards/Utility companies, and startups to big tech firms. On behalf of the Electrical Engineering department, I welcome our new and current students and visitors, and wish them a bright future ahead.
